Gel Eyeliner

If I given a choice only to choose one makeup product on my face, eye liner would be my only choice. I always believe that eyes the window to the soul, so it is an important part on your face that attracting men :)

I have been using so many types of eyeliner from pencil, liquid to gel eyeliner. My personal preference is gel eyeliner due to its build-ability( create drama effect) and it last longer that liquid liner. A gel eye liner is easy to use, gives you a little more play time and blend ability, so it is great for people who are newer to applying liner. It can also be used to create different effects; from a Smoky eye to a crisp, clean liner.

 

These are the 3 gel eyeliner( black) that I am currently using:

Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliner

Pros

-Great Pigmentation

                                                                    -Waterproof
                                                                        -Smudgeproof
                                                                     -Easy to apply
                                                                            Cons:
                                                                        -Expensive

-Easy dry out

Maybelline Gel Eyeliner

Pros:

                                                         -Easy to find and a great price
                                               -The brush it comes with quite good quality
                                                    - Come with a nice little pot with silver cap
                                                           -The black color is very pigmented
                                                                     -No flaking
                                                                  - Has a soft finish
                                  - Not easy dry out compare with Bobbie Brown Gel Eyeliner                             
                                                                             Cons:                                                             
                                                              -It smeared and smudged                                                
                                                -The finish isn't very intense like a regular liquid gives you

                                                                              Pros:
                        -The brush is attached to the end of the cap, so it is very convenient for travelling.
                                                                - Affordable price
                                                              -Super Intense color
                                                           -Very smooth and creamy
                                              - Super easy to apply and create both fine and smokey eye effect

                                                              -It smeared and smudged like crazy!

Avene Sérénage

Thank you Avene for letting me to try out their relatively new range product Sérénage Nutri-Redensifying Vital Serum and Sérénage Nutri-Redensifying Day Cream. In fact am not a big fans of aging products as most of them appear too rich and oily for combination skin like me. Surprisingly it's light and gives me a nice glow, without making my face more oily after trying it out! For me, I'm having ... slight slackening of tissues with mild wrinkles and laxity.   From my pictures, you can see a slight hollowing and an oblique groove under the eye to the mid cheek (tear-trough depression), with a hint of a groove from the outer nasal corner to the lip commissure. Since this is the first day I am using this product so I have not much expectation on it in improving my skin density. But these products really help in optimize your skin’s appearance(smooth and supple) and get you ready to put up your makeup! Looking forward to seeing the end results!
